As an Integrative Nutrition health coach, I help people overcome their anxiety about what to eat by teaching them how to make the right choices for their unique needs. I use client-centered coaching techniques and evidence-based nutrition education to clear up confusion surrounding diet culture and find the right plan for you. So much information is out there, and most of it is contradictory. Should you eat more protein? Less? Should you avoid salt and fat or eat more? Carbs are bad…right?
There are no one-size-fits-all cookie-cutter plans that will work for everyone. You are an individual and should be treated as such. All-or-nothing restrictive diets may work for the short term, but for lasting results, you need a sustainable plan that you can follow long-term. If you don’t correct the underlying cause of your problem, your problem won’t go away. Nothing will change unless your habits change.
I believe real food saves lives. I also believe that no body system works independently and that all disease starts in the gut. This means that diet and lifestyle have to work together in a balance that nourishes the entire individual. Sunshine, sleep, time with family and friends, exercise, spirituality, hobbies, and other lifestyle factors matter as much as or more than what you eat. Stress, for example, can be a root cause of many digestive disorders.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in nutrition and a health coaching certification in Integrative Nutrition; I am a former certified yoga teacher and am working on a Board Certification in Holistic Nutrition (expected early 2024). I also am a real person with real experience in holistic and integrative health and lifestyle. What this means for you is that you will have a coach with a wide range of tools to help you make the changes you need to reach your goals. The key phrase there is your goals. Not mine. Your success is my success.

I tried every diet out there. All I can say is, don’t waste your money on shakes and bars. Hire a coach and eat real food.

Dona explains everything so well. I could really understand what to do and why I was doing it.
Nina
I didn’t realize how junky the food I was eating was. Now I save that stuff for a treat and eat one ingredient foods most days.
